CICON19 conference – Translating science into survival

Cedric Bogaert and Lien Lybaert attended the international cancer immunotherapy conference in Paris, CICON19 organized by CRI, CIMT EATI and AACR to learn more about what is new in the field and what struggles still need to be faced. Many different topics were highlighted involving cancer prevention, combinational therapies, immune checkpoint therapies, T-cell exhaustion, cell and non-cell based immunotherapies, tumor neoantigens, vaccination strategies, tumor metabolism and microbiome. Very encouraging data was presented on the response rates of cancers to different types of immunotherapy. These new insights will further help improve the myNEO ImmunoEngine.
