Lien studied pharmaceutical sciences where she focused in her master thesis on cancer therapy, i.e. the targeting of the anti-tumour gene IL-24 (MDA-7). During her PhD she worked on the design of immune-modulating generic polymeric strategies for personalised cancer vaccination.
Lien has in-depth knowledge of the tumour immuno-biology and this background supports her function as scientific alliance manager at myNEO. She coordinates multiple research projects and is the link between the myNEO bioinformatic team, the collaborating laboratories, and the partners of myNEO. She is invested in broadening myNEO's scientific exposure and value, sets up high-level collaborations and research projects as well as builds the myNEO personalised cancer platform towards the clinic.
